Carl & Renee have opened Haworths at a new location, in Regency Hotel, Douglas.
Prime location at The Regency Hotel, with panoramic views across the bay, this is a perfect choice for business and pleasure.
The Restaurant also has a spacious Bar Area which apart from offering pre dinner drinks is also an excellent meeting place for drinks & snacks. Haworths can be more than just a restaurant, with a seating capacity of around 60 it lends itself for a wonderful location for a Wedding or Private party.
Carl and Renee Haworth
Carl & Renee have lived on the Isle of Man for the past 20 years. Before coming to the Island, Carl originally from Lancashire, trained at The Savoy Hotel in London. After that he worked in such places as Browns Hotel, Grosvenor House, Westbury and The Dorchester. He also spent some time at Ecole LeNotre in Paris as well as the 3 Michelin Star Restaurant ‘Eugenie Le Bain’ in South West France.
Renee, originally from Warwickshire, started her career as a Hotel Receptionist. She won the converted Receptionist of The Year Title for Trusthouse Forte. Renee has also spent some time in London, managing luxury Private Apartments in Knightsbridge. An opportunity came to come to the Island where she embarked on her career as a Restaurant Manager.
Carl and Renee worked together at Churchills, Creg Ny Baa and then took on Haworths at Ballasalla. Their career together was put on hold whilst they had their two children, Ben,13 and Maddie, 9. They are now wholeheartedly, very excited to be welcoming both new and old customers back to Haworths.
